There are people who, for some reason, do not accept photoshoots in specially equipped premises. Only ‘open air or at home’, they say.
I will be happy to take pictures of you at the sea, in the park, in the city and beyond. Both in hot weather heat and in cold. Are you ready? Or is there any sense of waiting six months for a good weather? 😊
As for the photoshoots at home: it is feasible, of course, if you have a beautifully suitable interior or at least a non-decorated/non-painted wall (without floral wallpaper) near the window. Ideally this window should not face the north side, for example, and outside the window there should be no gray December weather, when the very essence of the window is no longer so obvious.
So, why studio?
1. At any time of the year, the temperature is comfortable here: you don’t have to wear fur hats and mittens for shooting in winter (which, by the way, I have nothing against), but some beautiful light clothes (and you don’t have to change clothes in the bushes if the photoshoot is an open air). And if you really want, you can come here in the summer with skates over your shoulder)
2. You are guaranteed not to be surrounded by crowds of passers-by. Many clients are embarrassed even at the sight of a photographer, to say nothing of onlookers.
3. There are interior studios that imitate the “beautiful life”; and ordinary ones, where there are only walls and windows (sometimes without them). Many ideas are easier to implement in the studio. And you know in advance what will be in the photo in the background, and I will not ask you to remove the picture from the wall.
As an option, this could be a good reason to change the surroundings at least for a while. Such a micro-trip.
4. And one more indisputable plus: there is ALWAYS a professional light in the studio! In the one, the windows are specially made larger than in the average apartment, they face the “correct” cardinal points, which means that we can almost always use natural light. And if it is not enough, it does not matter! The studios have - pa-baaaam! - artificial lights! So, the shoot may and will take place in any weather and at any time.
Last but not the least: I always salute brave people! If you want to shoot outdoors now, I'm all for it! Spiced tea or coffee with cardamon? We'll find something to keep you warm!
